On 5th June at Rio it was quite a busy day as eight bracelet events were running along with each other at the venue. Two members from Team India are running deep in Event #3: BIG 50 – $500 No-Limit Hold’em. Another major event that witnessed copious Indian participation was Event #16: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em 6 handed.
Many Indians were seen in action, but only four of them managed to pull through to Day 2. Leading from the front was Ashish Ahuja who bagged a stack of 237,500 followed by Siddharth Mundada (225,000), Nipun Java (137,500), and Sriharsha Doddapaneni (45,000).
