The newer series of Deltin Poker Tournament is DPT Colossus where the buy-ins are colossal and you will find only some of the best in the business taking part in the series. DPT is something all top Indian players look forward. This is the second edition of DPT Colossus.
The series is scheduled between 2nd to 5th May and the INR 50k Warm Up event kicked off. We saw many top names in action in Deltin Royale in Goa. Minissha Lamba and Kunal Patni were also seen in action and the latter progressing to Day 2.
On Level 10, the registration shut down with 66 entries joining the tournament. The prize pool is set to be shared among top 9 players. By the end of Day 1, only 19 players bagged chips to return later. All the payers have their eyes on the top prize of INR 10,80,000.
Gokul Krishna is the player who held the chip lead from the very beginning in the tournament and continued to do so by the end of the day. He holds a massive stack of 400k and following him is the Meherzad Munsaf who possesses a stack of 320k.
Munsaf was runner-up in this event last year and he’ll be looking to go one step further than 2018 when he resumes the game. Popular names like Nishant Sharma, Kunal Patni and Raghav Bansal also progressed, but they will need to chip up early on Day 2 if they want to finish in the money.
