3 Indians Make Day 2 Of The Big Wrap Warmup PLO

The Big Wrap PLO series powered by partypoker live started on 31ST March in Europe-King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. This place has witnessed non-stop action these past few weeks with TIPS Winter Edition and WSOPIC Rozvadov playing out back-to-back at the venue.

The TIPS Winter Edition had a large Indian contingent in attendance. They did exceptionally well. Team India picked up a total of 21 scores at the stop including two title wins, three runner-up finishes and ten final-table finishes, all making for cumulative earnings of €78,809 (₹62,13,224). Ankit Kapoor took down the KENTA Turbo Omaha for €2,796 (₹2.20 Lakhs) and Jayant Yewale who shipped the Turbo Noon Freezeout for €700 (₹55,097).

A select group of Indians was seen participating in the opening event of The Big Wrap PLO series, The Big Wrap Warmup PLO, which attracted a total of 607 entries (Day 1A – 97, Day 1B – 165 and Day 1C – 354) across three starting flights. Gaurav Gala entered through Day 1B and made the cut for Day 2 with 156,000 in chips. Manish Goenka and Jagdeep Singh advanced from Day 1C with 125,000 and 57,500 in chips respectively.

Day 1A chip leader Germany’s ‘Kianator’ grabbed onto the overall chip lead with a massive stack of 715,500. He is followed by Day 1C chip leader Robert William James Cowen (474,500) and Day 1B chip leader Jan Peter Alfred Jachtmann (453,000).
