European Poker Tour(EPT) is back again making a return to Sochi Casino &Resort for second edition. It will run from 20 to 29th March, 2019. The series will feature 12 events and it is expected to be attended by few Indian players including Tathagata Sengupta, Jayjit Ray and Kartik Ved with WSOP 2017 bracelet winner Aditya Sushant and also Anant Purohit.
Last year, two Indian challengers- Alok Birewar and Vivek Rughani were present at the series. This year even bigger contingent of Indians will be present at the series. Tathagata Sengupta, Kartik Ved and Aditya Sushant won EPT Sochi Main Event Qualifier packages on PokerStars India. Joining them will be another PokerGuru Team Ambassador Jayjit Ray and online pro Anant Purohit. Sriharsha Doddapaneni is another well-known Indian pro likely to be in attendance.
Most of the players confirmed that they will reach the venue on 21st March. While Ved and Sushant are geared up to play all the events and others have different plans. An International series like this is bound to draw some of the big names of global poker making the fields extremely competitive.
