The Indian Poker Series began its 2nd edition at Kings Resort in the Czech city of Rozvadov. TIPS was scheduled between 6 to 11 March 2019. The highlight of the festival was €350 Main Event and has reached Final 17 players who will play for the title.
Apart from it, TIPS&KENTA €770 Europe Highroller was also hosted and saw 93 entries (12 re-entries). The buy-in was individually chipped in by the field and the resulting prize pool came to €61,845 (INR 48.61 Lakhs).
Israel’s Liad Greenberg wins the TIPS Highroller title. He bagged €15,097 (INR 11.86 Lakhs) after making a heads-up deal with India’s Jagdeep Singh. He won €14,000 (INR 11 Lakhs) from the deal. Singh is one Indian who has gone to TIPS 2.0 and made deep runs there. He has made the best cash of this series among Indians.
Other Indians to win a tournament in the series were Jayant Yewale winning Turbo Noon Freezeout and Ankit Kapoor winning Turbo Omaha event. They earned €700 and €2,746 respectively.
