Chen Dong takes down first ever APT Taiwan Championships Event

The Asian Poker Tour(APT) successfully concluded it APT Taiwan 2019 at the CTP Club, Taipei, Taiwan. It ran from 20th February to 3rd March 2019. The APT Taiwan Championships Event was the last highlight event in the series. China’s Chen Dong wins the event. He defeated Hong Kong’s Jennette Tan in heads-up to lift up the Golden Lion APT Trophy.

He outlasted a field of 288 entries to earn the top prize of TWD 2,955,000(INR 67.93 Lakhs). The APT Team had a short on-site interview with Dong. He said that he was happy to ship the inaugural APT Taiwan which is also his first time playing in APT.

At the final table, Jack Nai Yuan Hu was the first one to get eliminated at 8th place. The next three eliminations that happened were all delivered by Taiwan’s Pete Yen Han Chen. Later, UK’s Alex Lindop fell at 4th place after some tough action.
