Hong Kong’s Chow Cliff claimed the title in APT Taiwan Main Event 2019

For the first time, Asian Poker Tour visited Taiwan. The crowd at the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association club in Taipei is a proof that the series was a success. The series kicked off on 20th February and will run till 3rd March. Recently, the Main Event saw three crowd-packed starting flights bring 523 entries.

After a full six-day run, Hong Kong’s Chow Cliff claimed the title following a heads-up deal with well-known pro Alan King Lun Lau. Cliff crushed his competition, knocking out 6 of the final 9 players on the final table. After shaking hands on a heads-up deal, he went on to eliminate Lau to a runner-up place. Along with a payout of TWD 2,443,800(₹56,38,406), Cliff won his maiden live title.
