Asian Poker Tour 2019 hosted at the CTP Club, Taipei inaugurated on 20th February and will run till 3rd March. The TWD 33k Main Event completed its Day 2, after three starting flights. A total of 523 entries made in the tournament and among them 92 have survived Day 2.
South Korea’s ace player Lim Yohwan aka ‘Boxer’ entered the game with the highest chip followed by Day 1B chip leader Manh Nguyen. But, it was Hong Kong’s Chung Kin Fai who took 385k chip home.
Closing the second day in the lead is Taiwan’s Philip Wang with 324k chips bagged. Third in chip lead is Hong Kong’s Ho Man Tsun with 299k chips. Japan’s Go Mori is one of the winners in APT Tokyo 2019 was also in the mix and finished at 7th in chip counts.
Fai has around $42k in live cashes till now and is a decent regional player. He mostly earned from Taiwan. He made his best cash of $15k in PPPoker Festival ME Taiwan in September 2018.
Some other players in the run include Yohwan(8th), UK’s Alex Lindop(9th), SJ Kim(16th), Sparrow Cheung(18th), Phachara Wongwichit(41st), Sebastian Wong(45th) among others.
