The APT Taiwan 2019 hosted two events which attracted a decent crowd at the Chinese Texas Holdem Poker Association (CTP Club), Taipei, Taiwan. The TWD 8.8k Dream Maker 5% Payout was one event which was seen for the first time in APT’s history.
The event, a brainchild of CTP Club President Hsing Tai attracted 118 entrants in the field. Among them only 8 of them advanced to the final day. They all are fighting for the first place out of the created prize pool of TWD 915,700(INR 21.12 Lakhs).
Brazil’s Patrick Liang is leading with 261k chips. Following him is Japan’s Tetsuya Tsuchikawa with 220K chips who recently won APT Vietnam Main Event 2018. Liang is a decent player with $107K in live cashes till now. Mostly he has cashed in Taiwanese tournaments. He was also running in the coveted PSPC hosted by PokerStars in the Bahamas and also cashed at 45th for $69.1k.
