The PPPoker World Championship resumed the Main Event with Day2 seeing 130 players back on the felt in a race to survive another 10 grueling rounds. The day closed with a strong lineup of Filipino players at the top. At the helm was Lester Edoc with 1,888,000. He was very active at the felt all day and carried the biggest stack. Edoc continued to grind for chips and won 5 consecutive pots to drive his stack to the summit.
Mike Takayama, WSOP champion followed him with 1,802,000. Rising to the third rank was Richard Marquez aka Hotsauce. He rose steadily throughout the day and bagged 1,294,000.
The other player joining the leaders was Markus Garberg with 1,188,000. He amassed such a lead that even after he doubled up Takayama, his stack was still over a million.
