The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is going to complete its 50th annual outing this year, so the brand has decided to make it a series to remember. The WSOP revealed details of a total of 73 events as part of the series, in addition to the previous announcements that the global poker brand had made.
This year, WSOP named 13 events of the series and also disclosed that one of the signature events-The Colossus will undergo a revamp making a two-flight event starting on 26th June. The second flight will kick off the following day. Mini Main Event with a $1,000 Buy-In was also added to the calendar. It is scheduled to be held just 2 days before the start of the $10,000 Buy-In actual Main Event. The Mini Main Event will take place on 1st July and 2nd July. It will have players with 60,000 tournament chips and features the same blind structure with 30 min levels instead of 120 minutes in the Main Event.
Two Super Bounty events were also confirmed with both events featuring a single-day structure. The $1,000 Buy-in version will offer $300 bounty for each elimination and $1,500 version each elimination will be worth $500. Apart from announcing 73 events of the WSOP, it also revealed more changes that the brand will be incorporated at the upcoming series.

In a press release, the WSOP announced many changes that will be incorporated at the upcoming poker festival. Many events will be re-structured to accommodate the Big Blind Ante format. It means that all No-Limit Hold’em events at the WSOP 2019 including gold bracelet events, Mega Satellites and Daily Deepstacks will adopt the Big Blind Ante format.
In order to make the 50th anniversary celebration of the WSOP extra special, it has announced a special event that’s only open to previous bracelet winners. Players who have won a WSOP gold bracelet can participate in the $1,500 Bracelet winners Only No-Limit Hold’em. It will take place on 10th July. The 1,078 players who won bracelets in the past and the 2019 bracelet winners can compete in the event. It features a starting stack of 50,000.
