There are many female players in India who are doing pretty well, we have picked up the top five players among them who have been doing well in the poker industry. They have been putting quite decent scores and climbing up the GPI Ladies Player of the Year 2018 race.
Nikita Luther is the Adda52 team pro ranks first in the GPI India Ladies POY 2018, holding 525.74 points. Currently, she is the top female player in India. She ranked 18th in India’s All Time Money List and racked up $207,940 in live earnings. This year she created big waves when she won the WSOP Tag Team Event along with Giuseppe Pantaleo and claimed $87,902. She became the first Indian lady to win a WSOP bracelet.
She ranked 2nd in the GPI India Ladies POY 2018 who currently holds a total of 505.76 points. In India’s All Time Money, she ranked 68th with $69,340 in total live earnings. She started the year with 2nd position in the DPT Colossus 50K Warm-Up for $8,573 and 3rd position finish for her second best score of the year – $21,466 in the DPT Colossus Super High Roller.
Muskan Sethi is India’s first female poker player who was honored by India’s President earlier this year. She ranked 3rd in the GPI India Ladies POY 2018. Currently ranking 78th in India’s All Time Money List with $55,044 in live earnings. Last year in February, she got her best live cash when she finished 8th for $13,107 in the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Main Event. She secured her best score by finishing 5th for $6,682 in the DPT February High Roller 2018 in Goa.
She started playing cash games and tournaments around 2 years ago and since then the journey has been good. She ranked 4th in the GPI India Ladies POY 2018, holding 147.55 points. She holds $11,640 in live earnings. Her best live cash $7,767 came this year when she finished 6th in DPT July High Roller.
Babita Agarwal is in the 5th position among the top female players in the GPI India POY 2018 with 95.59 points. This year in February, she took part in the Deltin Poker Tournament series and posted a decent score in the DPT High Roller where she finished 6th for $5,693.
