PokerBaazi’s Endeavour series is turning out to be a huge success. The tourney which started on 17th October will have 9 weekly champions battling it out for a unique Australia package for the Aussie Millions. In the 4th week, poker player Pranay Chawla emerged in the 2nd position among over 200 other players, barely missing The Endeavour 15 LAC GTD winner’s title. However, he still managed to bag a sweet prize money of INR 2,23,300. That’s surely some amazing poker news in India.
Coming in at the second position has not deterred Pranay as he is determined to win even bigger stakes in the near future. In a recent interview he said “I was happy to have played in a field of 200+ players but there’s a big difference in winning the 2nd and 1st place. Especially disappointed to have missed out on the Endeavour Finale and a shot at the Australia package but motivated to go one step further very soon!”
Pranay had a great experience at the tournament and was thrilled by the energy and organized structure of the event. Although the competition was tough, he still managed to have a great time at the tourney. He added “Like all featured tournaments, the field was quite reggy. I was expecting nothing less in such an important tournament with so much at stake. The best part was that at no point did the tournament become a shove fest and it was extremely well structured. After being reduced to just half my starting stack, I had a great run in the tournament. I was a chip leader for more than 4 hours in the tournament and for a significant period on the final table as well.”
We wish Pranay the best for his poker career and wish to see him win many future tournaments.
