DPT 2017 Main Event Winner Harsh Kukreja Makes INR 18.71 Lakhs

This year’s DPT registered an impressive list of 114 entries in the main event of 75K high roller, and this is where Adda52’s Team Pro Amit Jain garnered his massive win. The intense poker action had shifted over the weekends to the special 35K Main Event that was held on Saturday. The field was still stronger with a large entry of 179 players in it to win it. At this coveted event a well-known face in the Indian poker community Haresh ‘Kavish’ Kukreja made the winning amount of a whopping INR 18,71,000 payday!

Some of the most famous poker pros were seen at the event, namely – Gagandeep Malik, Madan Kumar, Anil Gulati, Maria Kirloskar, Shravan Chhabria, Bobbe Suri, Muskan Sethi, Mayank Agarwal, Adda52 Millions High Roller winner Anujkumar Kodam, Rajat Jain, Nitesh Baliyan, Vivek Rughani, Zarvan Tumboli, Ankush Aryan, Imran Khan, Abhishek Goindi and Raghav Bansal. Along with popular celebrity figures like Adda52 Celebrity Pro Minissha Lamba, Adda52 Team pros Kunal Patni & Nikita Luther and the first-time WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant.

On the second day of the final event which began at 3 PM, this Sunday the first player to be eliminated was Minissha Lamba. This was followed by several other poker pros like Loveleen Singh, Amrita Sethi along with Zarvan Tumboli.

The main event winnet Hitesh Kukreja had picked up the pace quite early on and built a sizeable stack. The first person to be beaten by kukreja was Adda52 Millions High Roller winner Anujkumar Kodam, wherein his pair of 9s sent Kodam home who went all-in with AK off-suite and the board went Harsh’s way. Aditya ‘bitti’ Agarwal was the bubble boy at the event who left the table at 19th position.
