Gaining an edge

9stacks was launched this year before Diwali. The online gaming platform was founded by 4 established & dedicated professionals namely Pratik Kumar, Sudhir Kamath, Rishab Mathur and Abhinav Nigam. Sudhir Kamath was the MD/CEO of the Indian oil exploration organization Suntera Energy previously; whereas Pratik Kumar was among the founders of Zivame.

Sudhir Kamath, CEO of 9stacks, in a recent interview to PokerGuru said, “We mainly reached out to people who we have worked with in the past, we all have worked in different corporates in the past so we reached out and had our first round of funding.”

Regarding the utilization of the funding, he said “We have developed most of our tech in-house in terms of our platform and features we are offering to our customers. A great deal of emphasis will be on that and on the product.” He added “…we are adding features for specific platforms as we go ahead. Development wise, we are currently focusing only on India…This round of funding, we are using solely on Poker.”

Kamath concluded, “Vision is to make 9stacks the best online poker platform in the country. We are focusing on user friendly interface, easy and clear payouts and deposits system and clear policies of tax deductions. We hope to have many new players joining us.”

We, at Poker Indian Group, wish 9stacks the very best and hope to see them take Indian poker to great new heights.
